A Few Words from Father Peter

The Society of the Divine Savior is an International Religious Congregation in the Catholic Church, founded in Rome on December 8, 1881 by Bl. Francis Jordan. Today, our Priests, Brothers, Sisters and lay people use their talents, strengths and experiences to foster justice and peace here at home and around the world.
Your gifts and prayers help us to share the good news of our Savior's love and mercy with those in need through our missions in more than 40 countries. That help is delivered through food, lifesaving medicines and, most importantly, the saving world of the Gospel. We strive to share his mission and to let the whole world know that the love and compassion of our Savior is there for everyone. Your support as donors, prayer partners and friends keep our many diverse ministries thriving. Salvatorians consider it an honor and a privilege to pray for you and your intentions. We invite you to pray with us.
In the words of Blessed Francis Jordan:
"Pray. The Lord will not abandon you. He will support you to fight the good fight to the end. Prayer, I say, assures us victory."
Prayers, Masses and Ministries - these are ways we spread the Mission of our Founder. "To share the love and mercy of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through all possible means."
In the Divine Savior,
Father Peter Schuessler, SDS
