Marcel Emeh - Scholastic

Background: Marcel said he heard God’s call at the age of five. He grew up in Nigeria where he attended an undergraduate missionary school before going on to earn a bachelors degree in philosophy from an affiliate of the Pontifical Urbaniana University Rome in Nigeria. Marcel worked with the Claretian Missionaries province of Nigeria, served as a teacher and as a receptionist with a hotel in Rome, Italy.

Why the Salvatorians?
“I admire the missionary activities of the Salvatorians, their unique way of spreading God’s word to the areas that urgently need missionary attention,” said Marcel. “I see priesthood as a life of total dedication to service of God and humanity.”

Hobbies: Marcel enjoyes reading, playing table tennis, keeping up to date on the news and watching adventurous movies.

Favorite Dessert: Anything with fruit in it.
